ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

What Is Eyebrows PMU About?

Powder Brows are a modern permanent makeup technique that creates a soft-shaded brow effect using delicate layers of pigment implanted into the skin.

‍

Unlike older tattoo methods, modern PMU is designed to heal naturally and fade gradually over time. The result is not heavy or blocky, but soft, airy, and customised to suit your features.

‍

This technique has become one of the most requested brow treatments worldwide thanks to its elegant healed results, low maintenance, and suitability for different skin types.

THE PROCESS

How It Works

How To Prepare

Aftercare Guide

DAY 1

Gently blot the eyebrows with chlorhexidine every 2–4 hours.

DAYS 2–3

Repeat the same procedure every 4 hours.

⸻

AVOID FOR 7–10 DAYS:

  • Getting the eyebrows wet — avoid any moisture, even minimal contact with water;
  • Sleeping face down or on your side;
  • Covering or taping the eyebrows;
  • Touching, scratching, or rubbing the eyebrows;
  • Pulling clothes over your head carelessly;
  • Taking hot baths or hot showers — avoid steam completely;
  • Any physical activity that increases blood circulation in the face area (you do not need to sweat for this to affect healing);
  • Visiting saunas, steam rooms, cosmetologists, or getting eyelash extensions;
  • Applying makeup in the eyebrow area.

With proper aftercare, scabbing should be minimal and may appear more like light flaking or peeling, usually around days 7–10. The eyebrow color may fade significantly during the healing process. The final color and pigment intensity will fully develop only after 28–30 days, once the skin has completely regenerated.

FAQ

Is PMU correction the same as a yearly refresh?

No. A PMU correction is the perfecting session after your first treatment, usually done after 6–8 weeks. A yearly refresh is a maintenance appointment done much later to refresh colour over time.

Why do I need a correction after the first session?

Because every skin type heals differently. The correction allows us to perfect the healed colour, shape, and symmetry once we can see how your skin retained the pigment.

Is correction always needed?

It is highly recommended for the best final result, especially for lips or brows where pigment retention can heal softer in some areas.

Will the correction be as intense as the first appointment?

Usually no. The correction is more focused and is designed to refine the result rather than repeat the full first treatment.

Can I have correction earlier than 6 weeks?

No, the skin needs time to fully heal before we can safely assess and perfect the result. The ideal time is usually 6–8 weeks after the first session.
